The eSupro Cargo boasts of a maximum speed of 112 km (on full charge) and a top speed of 60 km/ph. The new vans make Brring the first logistics company in India to include electric vehicles in its fleet and Big Basket the first Indian e-commerce company to bring in this alternative technology for last mile transportation. Mahindra has already delivered the first 10 vehicles to Brring Logistics in New Delhi.
Mahindra had rolled out the new eSupro range of passenger and cargo vehicles just earlier this month. Made for catering to city traffic, the cargo van is equipped with the latest electric drivetrain technology from Mahindra Electric, a high-torque electric motor and a direct drive transmission."Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M Ltd), part of the USD 17.The vehicle can be charged as easily as charging one’s mobile phone, through standard wall sockets.The vehicle also assures greater driver comfort as it comes with Direct Drive Transmission, thus removing the hassles of clutch and shifting gears in congested traffic."
